We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dynamic “PRO-Customs” - Freight Forwarder Individual to join our esteemed team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing and managing end-to-end shipment inspections, requiring profound expertise in various areas including freight forwarding, Dubai Customs procedures, and coordination with multiple government departments within the JEBEL ALI FREE ZONE.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end shipment inspections.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of freight forwarding, Dubai Customs procedures, and liaison with various government departments, including Jafza, DP World, Syaj Customs Department, Azmat Department, EHS, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Baldia, Dubai Maritime Authority, PCFC Security Department, Dubai Trade, and Dubai Port Authorities.
- Oversee inspection procedures for shipments arriving via Road, Sea, and Air in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
- Thorough understanding of Import and Export documents.
- Manage interactions with Port Rashid Dubai Customs, including document submissions and claim returns.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE, Dubai Customs regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with inspections related to Road, Sea, and Air shipments.
- Proficient in dealing with various government departments related to inspections.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic language is considered an advantage for this position.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
