Hiring for Document Controller for its Dubai Office
Experience: 7 -10 Years.

Roles & Responsibilities
•Coordinate all activities related to the submission of Project related Procedures, Plans, Drawings and Correspondences to the Client and Other Parties involved in the Project;
•Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
•Generate the various document control reports as per project requirement;
•Prepare site documents, and follow up of all the site needs;
•Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors, and suppliers as applicable;
•Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly;
•Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability;
•Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project;
•Responsible for coordinating with all departments of the company to assure that all documents are kept in the right place and in the right department file archive;
•Update documents that have typographical errors and other types of errors that may lead to the disqualification of a document;
•Participate in QA audit on Project documents to ensure that all documents are properly submitted to other departments;
•Responsible for file validation and document controlling. Before submitting a document, a document or file must first be checked and approved and ensure that all files submitted are approved by the superior in charge;
•Effectively follow the Project Document Control Procedure in submissions of documents;
•Submit Project Deliverables punctually and with quality;
•Ensures that all documents have no errors in filenames, submissions, etc., before submitting it to the next department to avoid confusion;
•Describing and creating the Acknowledge letters for the Clients through Document Control application.
•Familiarity with the relevant regulations regarding document keeping and handling.
Required Education & Experience
•B.A. in English, communication, Journalism, Business Administration
•7 – 10 years of related work experience in office work, documentation, and control
•Knowledge of Engineering disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc., is preferable.
