Quantity surveyor

Quantity surveyor required in reputed company in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidates should have minimum 5 years of GCC experience in Construction and engineering field having similar responsibilities
Assisting with the measurement of quantities for input into cost plans, cost estimates and bills of quantities.
Assisting with the preparation of tender documentation. Conducting viability studies and cost estimates.
Monitoring Contractors cost control procedures throughout the duration of a project including the Construction Phase, Final Account and Defects Maintenance Phase.
Assisting in implementing and maintaining all required cost control and audit procedures for all Project Cost Control activities designed to measure a project status.
Assisting in assessment, evaluation and making recommendations related to any financial claim and providing the necessary input with regards to settling such claims.
Establishing and maintaining variations and claims registers.
Evaluating all variations, additional works, field changes, additions and omission, and incorporation of the same with the monthly cost reports. Preparing and pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the Client and Contractor as necessary.
Providing assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration, or any other forms of dispute resolution
