Activities Supervisor (Female)

Activities supervisor is responsible for helping in developing, organizing, and putting into practice the daily program under the supervision of the Managing Director. They are generally responsible for classroom supervision. They may also be required to assist with light cleaning duties, and suggest training programs.  

Preschool curriculum Preschool teacher in charge with one assistant Put the plan for the holiday camps with the assistance of the other staff. Give tasks to other staff for the camp issues. Person in charge for updating Al Mina Facebook page frequently. Be a role model worthy of imitation and provide an example for the children to imitate. Develop skills in storytelling, finger rhymes, songs and poems. Help with the preparation of the needed materials and supplies for the activities of each day. Take responsibility for the children in the indoor as and when necessary. Help to clean, mend, and make equipment and maintain areas used by children. Help with any administration, including the taking of minutes. Collaborate with colleagues in the development of new approaches and techniques. Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills as well as demonstrating activities to children. Observe and evaluate children´s performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Establish and enforce rules for behavior, and policies and procedures to maintain order among children. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to children. Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians. Maintain accurate and complete children records, and prepare reports on children and activities to be delivered to parents by end of each month.  Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children´s progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.   Instruct and monitor children in the use and care of equipment and materials, to prevent injuries and damage. Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work— Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work ex. organize esteem building activities for children,  organize social behavior learning activities    Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others— getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks. direct and coordinate activities of workers or staff    Scheduling Work and Activities— Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others. Performing Administrative Activities— performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.  maintain educational records, reports, or files, prepare educational reports. Personal Skills and Attributes;  Team player and Creative Ability to listen Ability to work under the authority/guidance of another person Ability to hold a group of young children A caring, patient and supportive approach to young children Ability to relate well to young children and their parents. Flexible and willing to learn and develop Experience of working with young children in an education setting Work with creative discipline in a relevant way
