IMPORT – a) to receive and inspect all incoming materials as per PO/ BL/ Invoice, b) to prepare unloading report and to complete import shipment procedure during or after unloading, c) to report damage/ shortage in materials received, d) to inspect containers while receiving, opening and unloaded (to report if damage is noticed) 2 EXPORT – a) to ensure materials to be loaded is in order and in position for loading, b) to prepare loading report and to complete export shipment procedure during or after unloading c) to ensure containers for loading are in good condition (to report if damage is noticed) 3. To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials (raw and finished products).

4. To maintain proper records of raw materials and finished products. 5. Regular checking of stocks available. 6. To reserve a particular material for a specific job when required.
