Skill set Required
-Provide inputs to the development of the operational plan for the utilization of various systems and adequacy of resources for the Data Centre in order to ensure uninterrupted systems for the Group in line with the business objectives.
-Provide inputs for the development of the annual Data Centre budget as requested by the Data Centre Operations Manager.
-Install, operate, maintain and support the hardware and software in the Data Centre and provide Operations service within and outside the Group in order to maintain uninterrupted service at ITIL standards and agreed service levels.
-Provide first level systems support for round-the-clock information transfer, storage, and processing in a timely and efficient manner meeting the agreed service levels.
-Implement checklists, procedures and policies to ensure that operational activities have been executed according to priorities in a timely and efficient manner
-Provides Help desk cover outside the normal office hours in order to provide round-the-clock help desk support.
-Execute system shutdowns for maintenance and upgrades in co-ordination with SAP basis team, network, server, and administration and Real estate teams to ensure minimal disruption.
Qualification Required
-At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in data center operations.
-A degree and diploma in Computer Sciences or a related discipline. Knowledge on regulatory compliance and especially the security and legal aspects.

-Good knowledge of SLA´s, good communication in English interpersonal skills, customer expectations management
-Ability to learn new technologies, adaptability, innovative thinking, technical acumen
