Assist the Manager (Reservation Event and Marketing Manager) in the supervision of all activities pertaining to the Reservations Department in order to achieve the department’s highest efficiency and productivity. Manage a team of 4-5 reservation agents.
This is a hands-on role that will maximize revenue opportunities in the area of individual and group reservations. Demonstrate meticulous planning, accurate data capturing and team coordination to guarantee success in the operational and functional management of the RESPAK reservation system.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Be passionate about customer service with the capability of delivering amazing hospitality to our guests.
• Prepare and implement SOP’s for the restaurant reservation system and database management
• Establish policies, procedures and schedules for the daily reservations and events at the restaurant.
• Prepare and implement SOP’s for guest Data collection and must upload accurate data in Respak
• Must use RESPAK reservation system to take reservations. Ensure that sms/email confirmation has reached the guest
• Monitor calls on a daily basis – capture data on number of calls received, responded, voicemail, missed calls, etc.
• Establish the reservation team roster according to the call traffic and ensure that the reservation lines are attended at all times during scheduled hours and that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands.
• Monitor the guest database – perch profiles
• Liaise with operations team to set up guest status such as – call set up, guest history, regular guest, VIP guest, guest ranking by number if visits, guest ranking by amount spend etc.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor degree (in Marketing/PR preferred)
• 2-3 yrs. Experience as team leader in FandB/restaurant reservations
• Must know RESPAK reservation system
• Articulate planning and organizing skills
• Excellent in communication skills
• People skills – cultural awareness, willingness to help/approachability, positive outlook
