Purpose of the role:
The Waiter/ Waitress is under the direct supervision of the Supervisor. S/he will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers in a very professional way.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
• Responsible to provide customers with fast, friendly, courteous and efficient service.
• Responsible to inform customers of daily specials.
• Efficiently take customer orders ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Present menus to customer and answers questions about menu items
• Explain menus items, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
• Responsible to serve food and beverages accurately as per customers’ order.
• Prepare itemized checks and accept payments as and when required.
• Provide help and support to junior staff.
• Thorough understanding of preparing and serving specialty foods at patrons’ tables
• Hands-on experience in setting tables, setting place and placing decorations
• Excellent skills and knowledge in maintaining cleanliness and personal hygiene standards
• In-depth product knowledge of different kinds of food and beverages
• Excellent grooming / Appearance at all times
• Good verbal and written communication skills
