Key Qualifications for this Position include:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or eqv) from an accredited university with minimum twelve years (12) Engineering Management experience in Oil, Gas and Refinery EPCC Projects
Experience in midscale Oil, Gas and Refinery EPCC Projects and working with major IOC
Has clearly demonstrated engineering and project management competence leading teams of at least fifty (50) engineers.
Ability to work in multicultural environment
Strong Knowledge of Relevant industry Codes and Standards (API, ANSI, NFPA, ASME, ISO etc).
Demonstrated interpersonal/team building skills
Strong written and Oral English Communication
Job Description
Manages and train engineering team and coordinates activities of engineering department to complete engineering deliverables. Team of engineers will be multi-disciplined
Provides planning, direction, and coordination for all technical activities while achieving optimum use of personnel.
Administers personnel functions including recruiting, hiring, review and approval of job descriptions, selection and placement of personnel and performance evaluations.
Plans and establishes engineering deliverables and schedules and follows up performance against estimates.
Recommends and implements new policies and procedures as directed.
Initiates cost reduction proposals from other sources, compiles appropriate information, makes recommendations for action, and checks on results obtained. Prepares and controls department budget, forecasts operating costs of department, and directs preparation of budget requests.
Assist proposals department for Engineering Estimation
Ensures compliance of company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects.
Act as Technical Interface with Client

Develop and structure multidiscipline engineering department
Develop work processes for engineering activities to be in line with industry best practices
Improve inter-discipline communication
Set and monitor engineering targets to ensure manhours for work are not exceeded
