An electrical and lighting wholesale company in Abu Dhabi is looking for:

EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will manage the bookkeeping activities of the company, prepare payrolls and general HR functions, issue invoices, and track collection in addition to other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:
To prepare financial statements
To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque / voucher in a timely manner
To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts
To enforce credit control
To allocate cash to different departments / divisions and ensure that the direct staff complies with it

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

– 3-5 years of experience as an accountant in the UAE is a MUST.
– Familiarity with accounting software
– Familiarity with VAT accounting
– UAE Driver License
– Only local candidates already in the UAE will be considered.

EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS (The following are not requirements but are considered a plus):

– Arabic language knowledge

OFFICE HOURS
Saturday-Thursday, 8am-1pm and 4-8pm

COMPENSATION
AED 2000-4000 depending on experience.
