Job Purpose
This position exists to ensure the products and materials are of high quality at any stage of production and erection according to standards and project/client specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead role of creating QA/QC documents, checklists and manuals for the Prefab Factory to ensure that technical standards are met in the highest degree of satisfaction for regulatory compliance to ensure approval of submittals in a timely manner and smooth handover.
Review the project details, contract and technical specifications and IFC drawings to ensure that no variance will occur that will be a potential cause of non-conformance
Inspecting steel structures (welding, grinding), painting, electrical, plumbing and carpentry activities
Establish a pinch list and NCR Report and distribute to the production or project team
Raise Non-Conformance Report and initiates corrective actions
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
At least three (3) Years of relevant work experience in the similar role
Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
At least three (3) Years of experience for a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Working Conditions
Exposed to heat and high noise
Breathing of paint fumes while doing for inspections.
