Operations Manager - Factory Operations, Fabrication and Welding

Planning, scheduling and ensuring smooth plant operations, within budgetary limits
Formulating budgets administering resources and taking necessary steps to make up for any variances in the achieved vs. actual targets.
Reviewing existing processes and initiating measures for enhancing productive capacity as well as productivity.
Manage and direct staff members and the construction, operations, or maintenance activities of the Fabrication dept.
Supervise, coordinate, & schedule the activities of construction & fabrication workers, plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing procedures, welding codes and welding techniques
Excellent management skills and good knowledge of Quality Management
Co-ordinate and Conduct 3rd party inspections tests.
Enforcing strict adherence to the safety guidelines or moving towards incident-free environment.
Driving the development and implementation of production plans as well as ensuring execution in the specified time frame.
Operational plans & schedules for site erection
Developing and implementing plans & schedules for maintenance operations & annual turnarounds with focus on optimum utilization of manpower and material.
Ascertaining areas of improvement and recommending process modifications & equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.
Project based purchasing
Coordinate with suppliers for raw materials purchases like steel coil, cement sheet, screws etc.
Engineering evaluation of materials.
Comparison of price and specifications
Supplier evaluation and approved vender list.

• Proven sales track record.
• Experience in customer support is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and IT software.
• Proficiency in English.
