Responsibility:
1.Reports to the Project Manager or the Project Director.
2.Supervises up to 10 buyers and expeditors.
3.Develops project procurement plan and other associated procedures required as part of project execution plan.
4.Ensures compliance with bid?handling procedures, controls and integrity in the tendering process.
5.Maintains project procurement status reports
Mandatory Competencies:
1.Experience in supervising team of buyers and performing procurement activities within established purchasing procedures and in line with project execution schedule and
budget.
2.Ability to guide buyers in making decisions including finalization of inquiry bidders list, extension of bid due date, shortlisting, and recommend vendor for award in
conjunction with engineering team.
3.Good understanding of contracting principles and terms and conditions of purchase.
4.Experience within the oil and gas industry.
5.Fluent in English.
Qualification:
Mandatory:
Educated to Diploma level with professional qualifications and accreditation relevant to the role.
Relevant Years of Experience:
In the Industry – 10 years
In the Position – 5 years.
