STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
A Group of Company located in Dubai is urgently looking for Structural Engineer – preferred ARAB NATIONALITY currently residing in UAE on Visit Visa or Cancelled Visa. Preferred with background in Steel and Glass Industry. Salary is negotiable.
Key duties include:
Providing technical support to the commercial team in the Middle east in the sales process.
Resolve technical issues as and when they occur.
Design and develop cost effective steel and glass structural design solutions within the design brief and standards.
Co-ordinate design with the Sales Team and Project Managers.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA policies and performance standards and specifications.
Attend site design meetings and site visits for live projects.

Essential requirements
Candidates will need a degree or equivalent in structural, civil or mechanical engineering.
Candidates must be familiar with steelwork, from design through to fabrication.
Experience with glass or ETFE would be an advantage but not essential.
Software used includes Rstab, IDEA Statica and AutoCAD.
Ability to work to in a team, to tight deadlines and to budget.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidates must be fluent in English and should have minimum 3 years of experience in UAE
