Job Description
Plan and measure or estimate the project cost of electricity required by the building. Work for contracting businesses or for electricians.
– Build up the cost estimates by analysing the materials and labour needed to complete the project.
– Must explain the cost of wasted materials and possible delays in the project.
– Must have an exact impression, know the risks involved in the projects, create production schedules, etc.
– Prepare work and guidelines and create drawings for distribution systems and new consumers.
– Confer with customers and recommends appropriate locations, wire, and transformer sizes; operate City vehicles; and perform related work as required.

Requirements
– Must be graduate in (Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical engineering).
– Should be skilled in math and have the ability to predict the possible issues of the project.
– Must have good communication skills, must be able to read blue prints, electrical works, what materials are needed on the project and basic computer skills.
