2. Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or higher in Architecture or related Engineering courses.
7+ years of experience in Abu Dhabi.
Knowledgeable in complying with Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements and regulations.
Experienced in managing an office.
Background in Engineering Consultancies.
Knowledgeable in using engineering and architectural software (e.g. AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3D Max, etc),
3. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Evaluating architectural plans for design, feasibility, safety and adherence to building codes and other Abu Dhabi municipal and government regulations
• Surveying and assessing potential construction sites for project suitability
• Overseeing construction projects, estimating costs and managing workers
• Testing and analyzing construction materials for safety, strength, stability and determining optimal materials for architectural projects
• Meeting with clients to discuss project objectives, needs, and budget
• Preparing and presenting design proposals, including detailed drawings of finished buildings, renovations, or restorations
• Meeting with construction professionals and clients to discuss feasibility of designs
• Creating detailed drawings and specifications for architectural projects
• Working with computer-aided design software to create blueprints and images
• Working with contractors, surveyors, and building service engineers to create a construction schedule and bring the designs to fruition
• Coordinating work between various contractors
• Resolving issues that come up during construction.
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Manage and supervise an office on a regular day-to-day basis.
