Accounts Assistant
• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks and TT transactions.
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices and reconcile
• Prepare Statement of accounts and proper checking of ageing
• Maintains records by microfilming invoices, debits, and credits.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales.
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
• Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
• Providing support to the Accounting Department.
• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
• Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
• Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, etc. QUALIFICATIONS
Nationality: Indian (know how to speak Hindi, English and Arabic is advantage)
Experience in Accounting: at least 2 years and with UAE experience is a plus
Age: 25-35 years old
Familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
BACHELORS DEGREE.
