Assist with assessing company wide technical training needs and prepare annualized training objectives and a Training Plan/Matrix for technical training. Interact with operations department, technical experts, research and review literature, including manufacturers operation and maintenance instructions, to obtain suitable content for the design of learning materials. Prepare a portfolio of suitable training programs, including outline texts, presentations, handouts, simulated exercises, and tests materials.
Trainings should focus on principals of reliability centered maintenance with emphasis on company specific planned, reactive, and predictive maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
Conduct training's to technicians and supervisors using visual aids and simulations during class room sessions and practical demonstrations. Observes and assess participant’s performances during and after training's to determine the effectiveness of trainings delivered and the application of learned concepts. Administers written and practical competency tests and prepare performance reports based on performance assessments and observations. Ensure the training bus is properly fitted out with training aids, i.e. adequate seating, presentation aids, a technical library, simulated panels and hardware for demonstration purposes etc. In conjunction with the Training Coordinator make arrangements for delivery of training programs including: Preparing trainings schedules and training calendars. Arranging for the nomination and attendance of staff for technical trainings. Collect and compile accurate records of the results of training attendance, evaluations, and training related data in accordance with the company’s procedure for Training and Development and IMS. Participate in seminars and workshops to obtain information useful to advance training objectives and integrates information into training programs. Prepare and submit monthly training data and training reports to the QHSE Manager. Ensure compliance with company QHSE processes and procedures, in particular as it relates to Training and Development. Performs other related duties as maybe required to promote the objectives of the Department.
Must be fluent in English (read, write, spoken)English is a must, Arabic, Hindi, is a definite advantage. Hindi, Sinhalese, Urdu, Arabic, and any other south Asian language is definite advantage Current holder of a UAE driving license Category 3 Preferred Driving License Category 6 for Heavy Bus
Requirements
Must be fully conversant with execution of technical tasks in a facility management environment. Have knowledge of improvement practices for maintenance and operation of systems related to facility management e.g. Standard Maintenance Specification for Mechanical Services in Building SFG 20, ISO 50001 Energy Management System, BS EN 60300-1 Dependability Management, CMMS (Fsi in particular), Building Automation System etc. Experience and ability to assess training needs, plan and prepare learning materials, present technical training, and monitor performances of participants. Excellent knowledge of and proficiency in the use of MS Office application, particularly MS Power Point. Sound organizational and administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and data. Strong communication skills. Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and OSHAS 18001 requirements. Previous experience: Minimum 8 years technical experience with at least 3 of these in a supervisory role. Have a Technical Diploma in a related field. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate technical concepts in a learning environment.
