Providing advice on the implementation of EHS policies and procedures; Facilitating the risk assessment processes; Conduct risk assessments with in the risk assessment methodology out line in the EHS Manual; Review reported hazards and incidents to identify risks; Identify ,document, implement and review controls to eliminate or reduce EHS risks; Raising EHS matters and issues to the School Principal /senior management on behalf of employees; Communication and raising awareness of EHS requirements; Advice on EHS issues with in the school; Assist in the resolution of EHS Issues. Participate in EHS committees and associated activities. Participating in the delivery of EHS induction training; Ensuring records are kept of EHS induction training. Participating in evaluation of EHS induction program. Leading EHS Inspection program: Identify areas subject to regular inspection; Ensure inspections are scheduled monthly; Ensure area are specific checklists are available to inspection teams; Ensure inspections are added to EHS activities calendar Investigate or assist investigation of EHS incidents. Submit reports with in the required timeframes. Communicate outcomes of incident investigations to concerned stakeholders. Follow up review actions implemented to ensure they are suitable. Review and update risk assessments in consultation with relevant stake holders. Maintain records of the risk assessment process in the risk register Ensuring EHS documentation created at school level complies with the requirements of EHS manual Maintaining the local EHS documents register Manage the EHS records and has responsibility for maintaining an EHS records organized in a secure location.
