We are a leading International Insurance Intermediary specialized in health insurance. We are now looking for an HR specialist responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s human resources, evaluating and implementing human resources policies, programs and practices.
The principal responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
- Maintain organization of staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
- Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records, keeping reminders of when important documents are due for renewal (visas, passports, labor cards, etc.).
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Monitor attendance and leave and keep records of holidays, sick leave, etc.
- Keep HR policies and employee handbook and other documents updated.
- Process visas, labor cards for Abu Dhabi and Dubai employees for both Free Zones and onshore companies.
- Keep employees informed about HR procedures and Company rules.
- Keep employment contracts in order and updated.
Requirements
Skills and competencies required: - At least 3 years’ experience as HR. - Degree in Human Resources Management or similar. - In depth knowledge of the UAE Labor law. - In depth knowledge of the visa process for onshore and free zones companies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. - Extreme attention to detail and precision. - Enthusiasm and a strong drive for suggesting improvements of the Company HR policies and procedures. - Ability to work autonomously and independently. - Strong organizational skills.
