A well-reputed multinational organization in the Automotive Industry seeks suitable candidates to fill the following position: Position: REGIONAL DIRECTOR - Code: RD-001
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with the Vice President - Global Sales, in establishing sales goals for the region.
• Manage an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
• Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams. Perform personal sales to key accounts and other customers on the assigned platform.
• Coach and support sales team to reach the target according to the budget.
• Achieve personal sales targets to the assigned territories and segments.
• Qualify customers and inquiries in line with our strengths.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. Postgraduation management education will be an added advantage.
• 8 years related work experience in selling trucks, defense vehicles, light duty vehicles and other heavy equipment to Africa.
• Candidates should have a proven track record of managing a sales team.
• Ability to plan, budget, measure returns on actions, resource allocations and develop profitability models, PandL understanding.
• Oral and written fluency in French would be preferable. Benefits:
