A high-end fine dining Italian restaurant in the UAE requires a ' Restaurant Reservation Receptionist' to handle the telephone lines for the restaurant reservations. Candidate should have minimum 1-2 years of UAE experience in a similar role and with an ability to handle a busy telephone board. Good command over the English language, Arabic preferred but not mandatory. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.

Candidate must have pleasing telephone manners, be polite and professional in talking with clients/guests/prospects.Ensure that the Reservation telephone line and e-mail are answered promptly and in a polite and professional manner.Prepare and implement standard procedure for the restaurant reservations system. Responsible to book individual and group reservations for the restaurant and capture future bookings.Must be familiar with RESPACK software to take reservations, ensure that sms/e-mail confirmation of the reservation has reached the guest.Organize reservations in an immaculate manner to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the day.Working knowledge of social media – facebook, twitterPromote the restaurant facilities to potential clients and explain them how the restaurant can meet their needs. Positive attitude and belief that the restaurant provides all guests with a genuine and gratifying customer experience. Ability to build rapport with clients and attention to detail on their reservation requests. Participate in restaurant’s promotional activities.Deal with guest comments in a positive manner and take appropriate follow up action.Communicate guest complaints and suggest corrective action to the Management.Ensure that accurate records are maintained of all reservations and events and filed in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
