Apollo forest products (fort st. James)

Having recently created some new positions and having some internal employee movement, we are looking to enhance our current team and are pleased to announce the following opportunities: 
Human resources manager 
As an integral part of our hr team, you will lead the delivery of a broad range of on-site human resources services at our operations in fort st. James. Taking an interactive role in the management team and partnering with the ohs coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operations and employees on the site. As the hr manager, you will influence, engage and develop people, support safety initiatives and lead change. 
Maintenance supervisor 
Reporting to the maintenance coordinator, you will provide strong and effective leadership and direction to the maintenance team while working closely with all other departments. This role will appeal to individuals who are able to bring out the best in people and who have a keen appetite for career development and for personal growth and achievement. 
Planer supervisor 
Reporting directly to the operations superintendent, you will provide first-line leadership and support to the team, ensuring a safe, healthy and respectful work environment in which employees can put forth their best efforts to produce quality products for apollo's loyal domestic and international customers. 
Lakeland mills (prince george) 
Payroll / accounting assistant (approx. 15 month term) 
Covering for a parental leave, under the direction of the accounting manager, you will be responsible for payroll and related functions in addition to a range of duties that support the operation and the leadership team. You will bring with you a depth of payroll and financial knowledge and experience, working with key stakeholders to advance continuous improvement of financial systems and processes. A strategic initiative in this role will be the integration of payroll into the broader financial system. 
Certified trades 
We are currently seeking certified millwrights to join our teams at both apollo forest products and lakeland mills. As a certified tradesperson, you will possess experience in an industrial environment and a commitment to safety, quality, excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving skills. Shift work will be required including graveyards.
