Shop Site Engineer

Supervise the activities of the fabrication team and provide technical support
Monitor the staff activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Organize third parties and sub-contractor’s activities such as painting, NDE, TPI and similar
Lead qualified and unqualified manpower and prioritize their work to meet department objectives
Conduct duties and deal with subordinate and colleagues prioritizing safety and quality standards compliance
Complete HR paperwork, leave request, time sheets, over time, hiring and other related duties of a supervisor.
Requirements
Experience- 5-10 years in Steel Work Shop Environment or Gas Distribution and supervisory role for not less than 3yrs Ability to read profile, shop drawings and as built of other utilities. IT knowledge and basic computer skills such as MS Office, Oral and written communications skills in English. Strong leadership to guide minimum team of 20 welders, technicians and helpers Completion of a recognized technology diploma program in the appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent Valid U.A.E. Driving License.
