The main purpose of the position is to support the Project Management team in the Project Implementation of the Abu Dhabi Transportation Management Centre ITS project from Kick?off to handover. The Scheduling and Planning Engineer is responsible to plan the order of work for effective execution and completion within the Contract time period. Responsible for timely project Implementation under the guidance of Project Manager or his Delegated Authority (Line Manager)  Responsible for preparing the overall construction schedule Responsible to ensure that required manpower, equipment, materials and supplies are anticipated and planned according to the Project plan.  Provide guidance to the Project Manager on the overall construction schedule and ensure that the approved schedule is maintained. Responsible for production of monthly reports itemising areas of delays and innovative methods of pulling back any slippages. To co?ordinate and liaise with sub?contractors for successful implementation of the project and to attend site meetings with the consultant/client whenever required. Ensure timely submission and approvals of technical submittals / test results of the project tothe Client / Consultant. Responsible for supporting Line Manager for Customer Relationship Management at larger perspective and direct customer relationship at operating level. Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements. Ensuring cost budgets pertaining to the project. Ensure maintenance of technical documentation for the construction phase.   We are looking for a well experienced Civil Engineer witt at least 8-10 years of work experience in planning and scheduling and a good technical understanding of high value Infrastructure and technology project. He shall  have a sufficient experience in Planning and Scheduling high value Infrastructure and technology projects, execution and completion within the Contract time period while working with an engineering or construction companies for at least five years with responsibilities and duties similar to those described above. Should be familiar in handling planning software packages similar to primavera and MS project. Salary offered is AED 16000 plus annual benefits.
