Acting as the main technical advisor on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives. Setting out, leveling and surveying the site. Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations. Implements and monitors project execution plan. Coordinates with test and commissioning engineer for all matters related to site inspection. Ensures the implementation of required site safety measures and instructions. Day to day management of site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors. Efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines. Preparing reports as required. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
