Main tasks include:
-Hardware support of IT peripheral equipment (mainframe screens, VAX screens, printers, barcode readers, wireless terminals, telephones, local cabling, etc.)
-Configure, customize, test, implement and problem follow up with other IT support groups and external vendors.
-First line helpdesk support for local user community.
-Handle basic security access requests such as password resets and access requests for directories on LAN file servers.
-Control execution of mainframe job scheduling and manage mainframe printer operations.
-Keep equipment inventory records and documentation up-to-date.
