Game Artists

Game Artists

Who We Are:

Fully funded startup, developing a high concept mobile game right here in Vancouver. Experienced, successful management team with a dedicated board; our chairman is a pillar of the game industry who was recently given a Lifetime Achievement Award.

For this project, we have partnered with a major US company that has deep connections to market leaders in North America and Europe. We have great views and amenities in our Gastown studio. The pace is fast and the work demanding, but we’re aiming for a big prize.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking to add dedicated technically-driven artists to our product team as we transition from Pre-Production to full Production. Prior experience in mobile is a plus. We need people comfortable applying a brand across a range of game assets, while working with our design team to create a memorable user experience.

While we prefer someone with a track record - particularly wrestling with the constraints of mobile - personality fit is absolutely essential. We will happily take on newer prospects with the right drive and commitment. We’re a tight team, so a capacity to roll with the punches is a plus, and knowing how to triage during tight pivots, even better.

We are looking for full-time hires who want to join us for the long haul, but we may consider a “getting to know you” contract for the right individual.
