Contracts Manager – Urgently required for a multinational rail company in Qatar. Candidate should have a Degree qualified in Law, Business Administration or relevant Technical Discipline. If not a fully qualified Lawyer will need to have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Contract Management function in an industrial/construction/engineering business. Working as an integral part of the General Management and Project Team, the Contracts Manager will provide clear contractual and professional advice/support associated with contract risk and claim management to achieve project excellence/success. Should be a trusted advisor protecting the company’s integrity and reputation by identifying contractual risks, recommending mitigations and solutions. Should have knowledge in Analysis of contracts in order to inform management about risks and mitigation measures, Contract Negotiation in order to achieve best possible contract within mandate, Contract Implementation Support, Driving Internal processes, Data Analysis and Standardization of contracts and improvement of processes Will need good contractual and business knowledge, Strong communication and negotiation skills and excellent standard of written and spoken English, Experience of working in Multi cultural teams.
