The position is executed at the GRADE Refrigeration office in the UAE. The Projects Manager is in charge of several projects in the MENA region. The Project Manager reports to the Senior Projects Manager.
Description of responsibilities:
Has budget responsibility for his projects in the region. The Project Manager should actively manage the project to improve the result while maintaining the quality and time schedule.
Manages the Projects in the company AXPTA system, issues invoices and Variation orders in co-ordination with the relevant departments.
Monitor turnover, profit, and budgeting for indirect costs within the project.
Close follow up of the project activities during construction and takes the initiative and monitors process improvements in the project.
Monitors the technical quality of the project.
Approves purchase orders and expenses for projects under control.
Manages the design of the project and the planning in coordination with the engineering department.
Manages the execution of the project in co-ordination with the site supervisor and/or subcontractors.
Maintains contacts with suppliers and subcontractors in consultation with the operations Department and purchasing.
Produces high quality written project reports.
Prepares project evaluation reports and costing and discusses this with the Senior Projects Manager and operations Manager. Deviations from budget are explained in detail.
Travel is part of the job.
Can, is familiar with, knows, has, involves: Pakistani Nationality is preferred. Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.5+ years’ experience in refrigeration or similar field. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Good management, commercial and communication skills. Excellent computer skills in MS office, ACAD and MS projects (preferable). Very good awareness of site safety regulations. Able to lead a team of supervisors and technicians to the best interest of the project. Here’s the same example enhanced with resume action words:

“Spearheaded weekly company meetings by communicating departmental growth and productivity.”
The applicant opens with a much more targeted action verb. Unlike “went to,” “spearheaded” is decisive and suggests the candidate has leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a knack for planning.
The applicant also includes the strong verb “communicating,” which is among the most common resume keywords recognized by corporate applicant tracking systems (ATS). By using action verbs, your resume is more likely to bypass the ATS and land in the hiring manager’s inbox.
Finally, the candidate ends their bullet point by stating explicitly what they communicated: “departmental growth and productivity.”
