Our company requires a 'Lounge waiter/waitress’ To be able to provide guests with the optimum satisfaction in their overall experience at the restaurant.
• Be passionate about customer service with the capability of delivering amazing hospitality to our guests.
• Responsible for the service of beverages to the guests in a friendly and courteous manner in the restaurant.
• Provide efficient, expedient and courteous service to the guests leading to guest and company satisfaction.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of all bar equipment, stations and furniture.
• Check all glasses, crockery and other items needed before putting them to use. To be responsibly minded for the breakage and loss of such items.
• Lay tables, side stations and clean all seating furniture if needed or when an emergency arises. To ensure that all items required for the set up of each table are clean unspotted and in place.
• Be courteous, warm, smiling while dealing with guests. Be efficient, fast and serve with confidence and flair.
• Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure.
• Carry out all side jobs as assigned on a fair rota basis.
• Follow Food and Beverage hygiene procedures as per standards.
• Perform all assigned duties efficiently, technically correct, follow Company policies and procedures, requests of Superiors and be a good team worker.
• Attend department meeting and training when requested.
• Follow and maintain service quality assurance.
• Has proper mis-en-place for busy operation.
• Ability to use Micros and understand all features available.
• Accept proper payment according to the invoice.
• In case of cash payments, ensure to receive and return accurate amount.
• Maintain a clean and orderly restaurant during service.
• Knows how to verify the customers’ age in order to find their eligibility for the consumption of al cohol beverages.
• Turn off all equipment and secure all inventories after service.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Hospitality Management. Additional trainings preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lounge Waitress in a Restaurant.
• Be able to speak, read and write English. Additional languages will be an advantage.
• Must have an advanced knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
