Assistant Accountant

One of our clients, a prominent distributor of fragrances in the Middle East region is seeking to hire an Assistant Accountant.
 
Job Location: Dubai
 
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Accounts Receivable and General Accounting experience.
• Must have Multi-Currency & Cross Currency transactions handling experience ( USD, GBP, EURO, CNY , AED and INR) .
• Proficient in Tally ERP system, MS office and internet.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
 
Responsibilities:
• Preparing quotations, proforma invoices and on receiving the sales orders posting in the system.
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data
• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Preparing invoices, credit notes, debit notes and bank deposits and posting into system. ? Posting production journals and inventory reconciliation.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
• Generate weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports and sending weekly reminder emails to the customers .
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status ? Researching and resolving accounting discrepancies.
