Accountant cum Auditor

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Accountant cum Auditor at ABDUL RAHMAN AL ZUBEDI & PARTNERS. In this role, you will be responsible for managing both accounting and auditing functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while also assessing compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform accounting duties such as preparing financial statements, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
Conduct audits of financial transactions, internal controls, and compliance processes.
Evaluate financial documents and records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and internal controls.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement audit recommendations and improve financial processes.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant and auditor.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
Experience with accounting software and audit tools.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional certification such as CPA or CIA is preferred.
