Relevant Engineering Diploma/Degree – preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
10 -15 years experience of which ten years must have been in effectively managing a Plant Operation or Workshop in a Contracting/Plant Hire Company or related sector
Has thorough mechanical and electrical knowledge of heavy civil marine equipment (e.g. cranes, barges, tugs etc) and machinery as well as small miscellaneous equipment - Good knowledge of UAE plant, equipment and legislative practices; Port and Transport Authorities legislation; Western Sector Oilfield knowledge and parameters would be a useful addition. - Has in depth knowledge of Plant related QHSE practices and procedures
