Our client is a federal entity located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The entity is seeking an experienced finance and accounting professional to take on the role of CFO for a 2 year assignment. The incumbent will be a leading and key member of the Management team reporting directly to the CEO. The incumbent will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company, as well as, a tactical role that involves primary day-to-day responsibility for many finance related activities of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide leadership in the development of both short and long-term strategic financial objectives • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Administration functions of the organization • Provide leadership surrounding investment portfolio management (from Finance perspective), development of MIS, cash flow management and system integration • Establish and maintain good communication and strong relationships with other executives and departments so as to provide comprehensive business solutions • Overall development of the Finance and Administration function by implementing best practices REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Fluent Arabic speaker • BS in Accounting or Finance with an MBA and/or CPA/CA/ACCA • 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles • Strong understanding of the IT component of the position • Sound interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization is essential • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientated

Resume Keyword Practices to Avoid
We’ve established that using resume keywords throughout your application boosts your chances of a human hiring manager seeing it.
However, be careful not to overdo it.
Packing your resume full of keywords is almost as bad as not including any at all.
Don’t forget that a real person will (hopefully) see your resume at some point. So use natural language that engages that person.
Tip
Make sure you balance hard skills vs soft skills on your resume to show you’re a rounded candidate.
Otherwise, they’ll think you’re either a bad writer — which indicates your communication skills aren’t good — or assume you’re trying to beat the ATS, making you seem dishonest.

 

Keyword Stuffing
Keyword stuffing refers to using the same keyword again and again in an unnatural way to get your resume past the ATS.
People engage in keyword stuffing because some ATS software gives applications a higher ranking when it detects a keyword is used more. For instance, an ATS might assign a higher score to a candidate who mentions “search engine optimization” six times over one who mentions it three times.
