A well known continental restaurant in a five star hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road wants to source for young waiters and waitress with a dynamic personality. The candidate should have knowledge of greeting customers at the time of their arrival and takes them to their tables. Suggest the menus to the guests and should have skill in up-selling the menu which will help to generate revenue. Knowledge about the various soft drinks as well as the appetizers on the menu. Placing the orders and delivering the drinks and appetizers to the guests as per the order. Must be able to discuss the daily specials as well as the restaurant´s regular menu items. Should be extremely familiar with the entire menu, including which entrees come with side dishes. After the meal has been delivered, the waiter/waitress pays attention to the needs of the table, re-filling drinks, taking away soiled dishes and offering napkins or other amenities the establishment offers. The waiter/waitress totals the check and takes it to the guest. He also accepts payment when it is not done by a cashier and must be aware of the accepting forms of payment.
