To support our expansion plans, we are looking forward to add members to our team. Business Development Manager (Ref. BDM-ME) The Zurn Business Development Manager (BDM) works in an assigned territory, developing and implementing a sales plan to grow Zurn’s specifications and to promote Zurn’s value proposition. The position is responsible for specification share growth with new and existing architectural/ engineering firms. The Zurn BDM participates in the continuing education/ training of Zurn’s agents within his region. The BDM reports to the Area Manager in their territory of responsibility with a dotted line to the Director of International Sales. BDMs are expected to make specifications, end-user and owner calls, growing specification share and end-user preference that creates pull-through demand for Zurn products and drives sustainable growth within the territory. Track key projects and make sure we are in position to quote all related products using databases created or from specialized service providers. Participate in local or regional trade shows that pertain to the scope of influence.
Job Requirements
• College graduate (preferably in Engineering) with marketing or management experience (preferred). 3 to 5 years experience (in the region) calling on architects and engineers for plumbing / drainage / sanitary ware-related products. Experience in interacting with contractors and clients. Capabilities and Success Factors
• Must have the ability to lead, train and drive change. BDM will have to conduct product presentations. Strong computer skills (MS Office) will be required.
• Self-motivated individual, able to multi-task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment. This position will merit travel and training in the company facilities in the USA. The rewards will be commensurate with education and experience.
