Quantity Surveyor

A reputed Construction Company in Doha is looking to fill the following position immediately:- QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Evaluate Supplier and Sub-contractor quotes and prepare quotation comparisons.
• Cross check client’s BOQ against tender drawings and specifications.
• Identify and calculate all variations.
• Prepare monthly payment applications to the client.
Candidate profile:
• Engineering or Construction Degree / Diploma or HND in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Knowledge of different methods of measurement.
• Excellent computer skills able to work with standard software programs i.e., Excel, Word, MS Project, Estimating specific software etc.
• Familiar with standard construction contract language, procedures, claims and variations, correspondence.
• Excellent Written communication skills
• Must be flexible enough to fit into a site based or Head Office based team.
