Civil Foreman / Site Supervisor

Knowledge of civil engineering and construction principles, practices and methods as applicable to UAE and/or GCC countries. Aware of electrical, plumbing and mechanical works at project site. Knowledge on the effective and efficient utilization of tools and equipment commonly used in the construction industry. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, understand and execute oral and written instructions using the English, Urdu & Arabic Language, in carrying out assignments with a minimum of supervision, communicate effectively.

Completion of 10 years of formal education and two/three years certificate course in basic engineering (preferably civil), or closely related field and a minimum of eight years specific experience in structural building using steel or similar metal elements as predominant material in the construction, or in a closely related field of building structures which uses pre-engineered components and steel as predominant material. Out of these, at least two years responsibility in a Shuttering & Finishing foreman role covering responsibilities of supervision and control of labour.
