Nursery Manager

A well known, established preschool nursery in Dubai seeks an experienced and motivated educational leader as its Manager for one of it’s branches. The Manager will work with the preschool nursery’s board and its leadership team to oversee the establishment, management and financial matters, and further the Vision of the Nursery in line with its objectives. She will be responsible for hiring, leading and supporting the staff members in the day-to-day management and administration of academic, educational and other operations.

The Manager will work with the owner and the leadership team to formulate and implement strategies and ideas to enhance the quality of the preschool nursery’s programs and their impact on key stakeholders. She will build on the foundations of the nursery’s curriculum by implementing innovative ideas for its development. The Manager will create and build on important relationships with different local and international communities, which work with the preschool nursery.

Preschool Curriculum/Ethos: The preschool nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and cater for children from the age of 1.5 months to 5 years.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Proven track record of strong academic leadership and efficient management, including at least five years of experience as Manager or equivalent position at a preschool. Demonstrated ability to inspire and promote quality teaching and learning in line with the vision of the preschool nursery and a steadfast commitment to lead it towards higher standards of excellence and quality education and care. Excellent communication, problem solving, team-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a committed team of educators.

Demonstrated experience in financial management of a school, with the ability and skills to manage the assigned revenue and expenses budget. The ability to recruit and retain highly qualified teachers and other staff, and the ability to instil confidence and gain their trust Strong knowledge and experience in EYFS curriculum. A Masters or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Care and/or Education from a recognised University in a related field.
