Our client, a well-established Renewable Energy Consultancy firm is seeking to hire a qualified and experience Design Energy for their organisation in Dubai.

Key role is to design and development of new and innovative residential solar products. The ideal candidate is expected to develop unique and innovative commercial solar products that balance power, aesthetics, and roofing requirements as per project goals.

Duties and responsibilities

* Use AutoCAD to create drawings of mechanical and electrical schematics
* Organize and maintain existing engineering drawing and design records
* Ensure designs adhere to applicable industry and business standards
* Design and develop new residential solar products with use of rapid prototyping to refine
* Provide technical input in design and code testing of solar products Good understanding of product development principles
* Recommend appropriate testing and aging protocols to assuring short and long-term performance
* Conduct engineering analysis of test data and optimize designs
* Report on product development progress in monthly reports

Experience, Qualification & Skills

* Minimum 3 years of experience.
* Engineering Degree
* Well versed in Auto Cad and/or other Solar based software
* Creative design background and proven track record of product development
* Good understanding of solar technologies and products
* Strong technical background in general engineering principles
* Adapt and make product changes with rapidly changing solar landscape
* Explore and implement off the shelf solar components in designs
* Strong technical background in solar products and related material
* Knowledge of solar product code certifications and testing
* Results oriented individual with ability to work on multiple projects
* Motivated individual with strong interpersonal and presentational skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
