Duties & Responsibilities
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiable contract, review products quality.
• Interview vendors and visit supplier’s place and distribution centers to examine and learn about products, services, prices.
• Analyze price proposals, financial report and other information to determine reasonable prices.
• Meet with staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective actions.
• Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and supplies comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine need for changes.
• Control purchasing department.
Qualifications & Skills
• Proven working experience as purchasing manager.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Should have at least 5yrs background in Construction Industry. Resides in U.A.E
• Proficiency in MS office, excel etc.
• Excellent English communication skills both oral/written.
