Job description and Duties:
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
• Monitoring and proactively maintaining computer systems and networks
• Maintaining the company’s biometrics and issuing access card for the new employee.
• Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to
help set up systems or resolve issues
• Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues, customers and other
professionals, such as software developers
• Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications or updates
• Testing and evaluating new technology
• Maintaining documentation and hardware/software registers
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
• Maintaining the POS machine and making sure it is working all the time.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Maintain and Back up the server in timely basis.
• Archiving the company policy and set procedures.
• Handling the company’s stationary and inventory.
• Maintain and Troubleshoot CCTV
Requirements:
Candidates should have minimum of 5 years of UAE or Gulf Region experience in a similar role is desirable. Interested applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification, preferably Filipino. The ideal candidate would have proficiency in English with a professional personality, excellent interpersonal skills, and outstanding communication skills both written and oral.
