An experienced General Manager-Ship Repairs is required to work on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant should have mechanical / marine engineering degree and 20-30 years experience in Ship Repairing or of having sailed as a Chief Engineer. Key work areas will include coordinating and monitoring all works to be carried out on ships and drilling rigs, ensuring the necessary manpower and equipments are available, control of hours spent on jobs to ensure profitability. Good communication skills are essential for negotiating costs and invoice with ship's owner / superintendent. Candidates should have knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, hull coatings and steel repairs.
