We are urgently looking for a Assistant Shift Superintendent with
* Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent Engineering qualifications.
* Minimum 7 years experience in operations
* 5 years of which must have been in Senior Supervisory capacity.
* Strong Leadership skills.
* Good Communication skills (both verbal and written).
Duties & Responsibilities;
– Assist the Shift Superintendent to operate the plant efficiently and safely to optimize output in the area of his responsibility as thereby facilitate achievement of production targets while adhering to Quality and HSE standards, Conduct operation/technical on the job training activities for team as per advice from the job inspector.
– Check the plant and equipment for abnormalities and keep the Shift Controller well informed about the activities in his assigned area to facilitate uninterrupted operations.
– Execute the critical operating procedures this includes start-up & shut down of Units, commissioning & testing of equipment.
– Carry out routine monitoring of all operations to ensure daily operating conditions are as per set standards.
