Location: Onshore Base
Purpose of Job
Inspects pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fired heaters, coolers and condensers, storage tanks and piping in process plants, utilities, off-sites and pipelines network.
Plans and checks all non-destructive testing of the equipment in operating plants as well as for new projects, witnesses procedure and performance testing for welding, safety valves and lifting equipment.
Carries out quality control check of paint coating, underground piping, external coating and thermal insulation work.
Carries out equipment and piping documentation of new projects, including preparation of data cards.
Minimum Job Requirements
• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years diploma in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering
• Certification in API-510, API-570 and API-653 preferred.
• 6 Years ‘inspection experience in preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of Arabic language is preferable.
• Computer Literate.
