Position: Accountant
Duties and Tasks:
• Updating and monitoring of projects’ financial status (Works Done, Project Expenses, Overhead Expenses)
• Checking and preparation of petty cash reimbursements and payment requisitions to be submitted to the Head Office.
• Preparation of payment certificates of sub-contractors as per their submitted invoices checked by the Project Engineer.
• Make progressive invoice billings to clients as per the works done on site provided by the Project Engineer.
• Preparation of LPO and checking if it is still within the limit of the material estimation provided as per project before passing it.
• Updating of client’s statements of accounts and follow-up payments.
• Collecting and checking of invoices from suppliers with existing credit facilities before submitting to Head Office.
• Checking and updating of accounts payable.
• Receiving and releasing cheque payments.
• Perform bank transactions when necessary (deposit, encashing of cheques).
• Preparation of laborer’s monthly attendance to be submitted to the head office for payroll processing.
• Preparation of Offer Letter to prospected additional employees in the absence of the HR Officer.
• Making/serving of memorandums and warning letters to staff in the absence of HR Officer.
• Filing of documents related to job functions.
• Assisting/providing support to fellow staff whenever necessary.
