Supplier Chain Manager Purchasing

JM Foods LLC is looking for a qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidate to join our company as Supply Chain Manager – Food & Beverages Sector preferably with UAE Experience. The candidate will be working in close association and reporting direct to the Managing Director.
Job Responsibility:
• Provide a procurement forecast by analyzing consumer demand patterns & identifying market trends.
• Actively participate in planning meetings, generating reports and providing demand projections.
• Critically analyze historical and future demands.
• Manage and monitor the stock turn-over of product supply with minimal obsolete stocks ensuring the freshness of stocks and minimizing spoiled / expiry items.
• Be the overall custodian of the warehouse and storage capacity in coordination with the store manager.
• Devise and execute effective sourcing & negotiation strategies.
• Identify the most supportive supplier in terms of costs, marketing support, etc.
• Determine quantity and ensure timely shipments.
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Examine and re-evaluate existing procurement contracts.
• Identify, set, track, evaluate, and report key functional metrics/ KPI’s to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
• Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Also, the candidate must have:
• Experience working as Supplier Chain Manager.
• Must have knowledge on Local and international supplier contacts.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Has the ability to negotiate & business networking.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
• Solid judgment along with decision-making skills
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Preferably with Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration

• Negotiation: 3 years

• Procurement: 3 years
Required license or certification:
• Driver’s License.
