Duties & Responsibilities
Build and maintain the knowledge needed to be resident expert on equipment and manufacturing of SiGNa products.
Review, update and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure that work is done safely and efficiently. Effectively collaborate with and seek input from operators and other staff to develop SOPs.
Along with the HSE Manager, coordinate HAZOP reviews and other PSM needs to ensure the safety and health of employees. Participate in incident reviews, root cause analyses and corrective actions.
Recommend improvements or redesigns for equipment and processes to meet safety, quality, production and cost goals. Create PFDs and P&IDs. Interact with R&D team to identify development activities necessary to improve manufacturing processes.Support design activities with business cases including economic analysis.
Use statistics and statistical process controls to confirm plant operations, capability, reliability and quality. Develop effective countermeasures when problems or nonconformance are uncovered.
Prepare and maintain inventory records; provide monthly and quarterly data for financial reporting requirements. Conduct audits and perform facility inspections to review practices and drive improvement in production.
Support the VP of Manufacturing and Plant Manager to implement lean manufacturing principles in order to drive out waste. Help build a culture of continuous improvement and establish programs to increase uptime.
Along with Plant Manager, coordinate activities for PM and major shutdowns, including awarding contracts, procuring materials, and sequencing of work. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct report responsibilities, but the successful applicant is expected interact with a broad spectrum of staff with regard to manufacturing, design and development activities. B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree.
WE NEED A PROCESS/ chemical ENGINEER WITH 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN OIL AND GAS FIELD.
