ELV Technician

Should have hands-on experience in the field of installing, testing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining extra-low voltage systems for both commercial and residential structures.
Should be able to apply knowledge of engineering principles. Check ELV systems, identify malfunction, trouble shoot and take appropriate action for the rectification of system and equipment.
ELV Systems : Energy Management systems, Security systems, CCTV, access control, Alarm Systems, All types of Automatic Doors and Sensors, Industrial and commercial Doors (Rolling shutters, Intercom Systems, Parking Management Systems, Lighting & Lighting Control,
The successful candidate shall be a good team player able to work with a multitude of nationalities with strong interpersonal skills.
Successful Candidate should be able to
•Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance and
setting up of all ELV equipment as per requirement.
•Experience working in residential and commercial environments.
•Must have the technical knowledge to install and service the
systems.
•Knowledge codes and standards.
•Understanding of manufacturers regarding issues with their products/systems, identifying if replacement.
•Work to continuously improve skills and remain abreast of new technological developments.
•A positive and result-oriented “can-do” attitude.
•Experience of safe working practices, risk assessments and permit to work systems.
•Able Interpret designs/diagrams.
•Understand and implement sequence of operations through different ELV systems.
•Detailed Knowledge of Building Automation and Control Panel Designs.
•Detailed Knowledge and experience of Electrical Safety Rules and procedures.
•Detailed Knowledge and experience of Operations and Maintenance of ELV system’s components.
•Maintain QHSE standards.
•Maintain Time Sheet for self and subordinates as per company requirement.
•Reporting system as per Dept./project and company requirement to be followed.
Qualification & Experience
-Diploma or degree in electrical/electronics/IT or related field.
3-5 Years Industry Experience and ability to work with minimum supervision
Candidates with relevant industry experience and valid UAE Driving License would be given the highest preference.

Resume Keyword Practices to Avoid
We’ve established that using resume keywords throughout your application boosts your chances of a human hiring manager seeing it.
However, be careful not to overdo it.
Packing your resume full of keywords is almost as bad as not including any at all.
Don’t forget that a real person will (hopefully) see your resume at some point. So use natural language that engages that person.
Tip
Make sure you balance hard skills vs soft skills on your resume to show you’re a rounded candidate.
Otherwise, they’ll think you’re either a bad writer — which indicates your communication skills aren’t good — or assume you’re trying to beat the ATS, making you seem dishonest.

 

Dishonest Keywords
It’s tempting to simply include all of the keywords you see in a job posting on your resume to maximize your chances of getting past the ATS.
But hiring managers are going to be suspicious if they see a resume that’s too perfect.
And even if you make it through to the interview, expect to be pressed with some tough questions about your skills.
Stick to the abilities and qualifications you actually have. Adding skills you lack will waste everyone’s time.
